I was at the game and I missed seeing exactly what happened on Ben E's three and the screen that was set that sent one of the Tigers to the floor. Can someone explain what happened? The folks around me at Fed Ex were screaming for a flagrant foul on SMU.

It was one of the best screens I've see . It was 100% clean.

Moriera simply set a screen and no one warned the kid he was there. His face met YMs shoulder.

Never have heard announcers calling out a crowd like that - Elmore said they knew nothing about basketball if they would boo that. So great.

Interesting press conf where Pastner was asked about it and inferred that it was likely not clean since crowd booed. Good grief, have you seen the morons in your crowd Josh?

In all fairness, YM turned his shoulder towards the guy when he knew contact was definitely coming. I think it was more of an instinct move to keep the Memphis guy's momentum from knocking him on his [deleted]. No way could I see it being called a foul, much less a flagrant.

I thought Pastner handled that question with class. He acknowledged his fan base without committing to an opinion on the call. A very classy politician like response. He is neither right or wrong, acknowledges his fans and avoids NCAA wrath.

Ben has had a garbage year, but I don't think it's indicative of the kind of player he is. He's lost in this system, sorta w/o a role etc. He'll find his way,
