Eh. We play Baylor and TCU, who should whip us, and UNT, who will be a toss-up IMHO, so a gimme isn't a horrible thing at this point.

But we better win that thing, I'll say that.

Yeah. Getting a likely win in there is a good thing. JMU isn't chopped liver though as they were a 9-3 team last year in FCS. This isn't an FCS bottom feeder.

In the last 30 years, SMU has lost once to an FCS team (NTSU in 1990). While next year's team certainly won't be a world beater, we've had some real stinkers beat FCS teams. Next year shouldn't be any different.
