If uconn continues to pack the paint, MK has to be more aggressive and draw some fouls. Settling for 15 footers by our bigs is not going to end well. Wouldn't hurt if Nic blows up in the 2nd half either.

For all the confused ones who chalk up weak 2 point wins in away games over teams with winning percentages below the mendoza line as big wins because they are conference road games...this is where that applies. A powerful program in a down year who needs a late season run. Big attendance, national tv, playing like they are at home and getting the calls that make that style possible. All of that combines to make this that conference road game. Now...time to step it up.

We need to make a big adjustment in the second half, they are doubling the post anytime we get the ball in there. We need MK to do a better job of kicking it back out as soon as he touches it in the post. If the post is open, someone is free for an open jumper.

He usually turns it on in the 2nd half. YM has been a beast and kept us in the game.

We are missing good looks and uconn is getting everything to fall. UCONN also getting the benefit of the refs to this point. With all that its a good sign we are only down 6. If the shooting evens out and the refs aren't too atrocious I think we will win the game.

We really look like we did playing Cincy. Out of sync and not doing a good job on the boards. Upon looks like they want it a lot more than us.

Against Cincy, Nic and MK were invisible in the first half, and Cincy was hitting everything from the floor. I agree it has that same feel. We came back in the second against Cincy, but ultimately choked the game away.

In Dallas against UConn, we were able to post up and got their bigs to jump on the fakes, and drew tons of fouls. Their big is staying on his feet today. Credit Ollie for working with him.

We need a 35 point second half in order to win this game. I expect LB to come up with something at halftime to work against the delayed double on the post in our offensive sets. I think we will see RM dumping the ball in from the point with Nic and Sterling on the wings, Sterling waiting for the skip on the opposite side.
