Several years ago, when the Mavs had a playoff game, they had a "blue out" and put a shirt in every seat, not just the students. And then before the game started they had the camera focus in on snooty fans who refused to put on the free shirt, got the crowd to start chanting wear the shirt until they did -- and then everyone cheered. Shaming them into team spirit got a lot of people to put the shirt on over their outfits.

I remember that game. It is amazing to me how much resistance they got from folks that could only look better in the free shirt. Some people's self image is very much separated from their reality.

Everyone cooperated last year w/the free white shirt & it looked good in the arena.
Just wear your white SMU polo or bball jersey and be done with it, lol.

Do you still have the free t-shirt they gave you for the Louisville game last year? If so, wear your gray and then slip the t-shirt on over it during the game.

Just saw where Arkansas is doing an red and white stripe out for their game with LSU. They are providing all the shirts and showed a graphic of the arena with which sections would be red and which white so you could wear your own shirt if desired. We could do that at Moody next year for a big game. Either red and blue or for TV, I bet red, white and blue alternating would look good. They would have to bring up the lights for a while for it to be seen but it would be nice.
