Starting following SMU athletics around 2000 when I was a junior in high school. First time I can ever say we've won a conference championship in a sport that anyone has ever heard of.


Also, first conference championship in a revenue generating sport in the R. Gerald Turner era. Amazing.

everybody needs to stop disrespecting Tulsa. That's a school that has a stronger basketball history than SMU and they have been a good addition to the AAC. I'm just glad we FINALLY beat them at Moody
