Great win and AAC championship.
I was at the game and Woodard was simply unconscious . Reminded me of Russ Smith in the Louisville game. He couldn't miss. Didn't matter how far away, how closely guarded. He was on.

Great win. tulsa had really active hands in the paint that denied us. Our lack of perimeter shooting has been exposed.

But how about the FT shooting! SMU was fantastic at the line and that is what decided the game.

Its a great feeling - so incredibly long overdue! How'd a thunk our free throw shooting would win the game??

We deserved the championship this year - no doubt about it. It feels great! And i feel very certain it is not going to be this long before we win a mens revenue sport championship again. In fact it would not shock me if we had both in about two years.

While at love after the game wearing a SMU shirt, I had several folks say to me what a great game and win it was. Nice to be recognized as a winner for a change. Moody was magic wand the team played well when they had to. Great win and now off to the AAC tourney championship.

How boring it must be to be Kentucky or Duke and do this a lot. Every 25 years makes it kind of special. Already planning for 2040.
