Pretty Strong Crowd

Have to say i was impressed with the student sections given that almost EVERYONE is out of town. They were as large as i could imagine they would be - and were as loud as i could imagine they would be. Good job by oldsters also in second half when it mattered. Nice job all around

I don't have a good view of sideline Student Section but they definitely were starting a lot of chants even in First Half. The baseline sections seemed much more sedate but I'm grateful they filled the student sections up. Not enough A team today. I guess the A team is most likely to get a Caribbean vacation offer

It was a great crowd. At the bottom of 202 there was a very vocal Tulsa fan (who was inches away from an altercation, in fact he was arguing with the SMU fan directly behind him) who by the second half was completely out shouted by the SMU fans around him. It was off the chart today!

Great crowd. Students were even solid, considering.

Saw one or two at bottom of 213 making everyone stand up at the end (4 min or so). That person was relentless and appreciated.

yeah saw him but he was trying to get fans to stand up during a Timeout-that's when I rest up so I can cheer during actual play when it matters

We've had better crowds. Maybe because the students were on break or maybe because we never went on a sustained run.
But the crowd would get loud and then a buzz kill - a Tulsa timeout, missed shot or a TO - it just seemed the crowd never got rolling.

We were rolling in the last 3 minutes and stayed for the net cutting

Yes we were. The net cutting was something I especially enjoyed.
The confetti drop was well done.
Really was an out of body experience.

Obviously we have had better crowds. The point is that 3/4 of our students were out of town, and this was still a solid to above average crowd. That is pretty impressive.
