Tolbert looks a Ben Moore clone? Skinny. Semi plays outside/inside. LB might have to play a slightly different offense unless we get a late lucky big pickup.

Hoop,
Obviously your information is not enough for some. I hearby demand you bust out your crystal ball and change your name to Hoopstradamus.

We're loaded w/that roster. We could use a big, but it's not the end of the world.
Maybe not as good defensively as this season but deep, talented, better from the outside...thereby more offensive balance. I'd go to war with that ten. (11)

Tolbert plays big or did at Tech. He's not long like Yanick, but not much drop off there

They might be a better perimeter defending team, not on the blocks though

Tolbert is thicker than Ben Moore. I would say Tolbert is in the 240 range.

Agreed. Get us one more BIG like that JC dude who can be a solid rebounder/rim protector and this team is nasty IMHO. More offensive threats, better perimeter D (although losing Ryan will certainly be an impact at least at first).

If we get the JC kid or another big, and we get everyone back we are an elite 8 team that will have a chance to win the whole thing.

Tolbert is a more talented, physical and athletic Sean Williams-he will get almost all of his points around the bucket

Indeed. The size of a Small Forward but plays like a power forward from what I've seen. He's been quoted as saying he likes the contact and playing inside. He and MK should be a very nice duo (and if Semi can get into the chemistry we will have a nice 4 deep front court even without another Big coming - although we still could use one for defense if nothing else).

I understand Tolbert is an inside player, so I was surprised/impressed to watch him drain about 10 3's in a row before a game after the rest of the team had gone to the locker room.
