Our 3 point Defense % was No. 81 out of 345 coming in-which is Top 23% in the Country

You're a clown; I've read where u said you were annoyed bc we just kept going under screens and never adjusted. You do understand that we switch on the pick and roll bc we can due to our athleticism, right? We rarely, if ever, go under screens. So, that is just objectively incorrect.

They made some bombs and contested 3s. It happens. It was nice that we were so much better everywhere else that we were still able to pull it out. Anyone can win a 1 and done game. See: Nova over Georgetown in what is probably considered the single best shooting performance in cbb history.[/quote]

Look at our 3 point FG percentage for the season. Look at our last three opponents and how they've shelled us from three. There is far too much talent on this team to allow vastly inferior opposition to hang around b/c of poor perimeter defense. Hell we almost lost to UH in a similar fashion earlier this year and they are dreadful. Keep those blinders on if you think what we've done this season on the perimeter defensively is going to be good enough to win once Madness starts.[/quote]
Ok. You know nothing about basketball. You want to play a zone to slow down a hot shooting team? Zone defenses are most vulnerable at the perimeter.

That's like saying a team should run a 4-4 to slow down a passing team. U know nothing.

Easy tough guy. Let's not go down a message board back alley :)

If you can walk away from our performances these last three games and feel good about our perimeter defense then OK. It needs to be better and its not a personnel issue. We have guys that are capable of quality perimeter defense. ECU was coming off an OT win in less than 24 hours. Lucky for us they got tired late.

Can one of you guys put the quote tag back in the front of all that mess if you keep this up?
Texas bites. Baylor sucks. As it was in the beginning, is now, and evermore shall be. Amen.

SMT you are really fired up today. If the team we play tomorrow shoots lights out from 3 then I will have to drink some redbulls and get on your level. I'm sticking to my guns by thinking we have mediocre perimeter defense and have just ran into a couple freak games in a row where teams have been shooting above average. That kid from Tulsa was hitting shots from 20ft +. Unreal. I hope you're not right and that our defense is so poor that every team we play here on out is going to have their best shooting game ever.

SMU will play Temple tomorrow. Temple potentially punched their ticket into the tourney today.

man what was it-9 out of 11 bubble teams lost yesterday? Heck Tulsa might get in too if they win a couple. For the first time things actually could break for AAC if exactly the right things happen

What's the status of Bond's injury?

Even if temple loses to us tomorrow, their RPI will end up being around 32. It would be a total crock of [deleted] if they didn't get in.

Yeah - hopefully our semis will have the four "right" teams and give us the best shot at getting four in the tournament.

We need to get Ryan and Sterling shooting more. They didn't look to shoot much at all.

Ben E. needs to either be a lock down defender or a a great rebounder because he is sure not looking to score. . He just hasn't been playing well. His inbound pass that went off the backboard was a 3rd grade play. He was a fantastic HS player and played well for VT. But now - he is lost.
