Saw a bunch of zone yesterday after we got on foul trouble.
Right now it looks like straight man when RM is in the game so he can defend boat, but when RM goes out they switch to zone.

Re: interesting zone lookWe are in zone because we are in foul trouble thwt is the only reason.
Re: interesting zone look
We were in it yesterday too. Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: interesting zone lookOnly negative of a zone is it gives the opposing team open 3's. If they start hitting them, it can change the momentum of a game.
I miss Troy Matthews.
Re: interesting zone look
For the same reason according to what LB said in the post game.
Re: interesting zone lookThis was a tactical shift though. Yesterday was pure foul trouble. This I think was speicfically because RM was out.
It is interesting because when we go zone, we actually defend really high, even higher than we do in man. It makes it harder to get threes off instead of easier. The length inside allows us to do it. I think we might see it a little during the tourney. It is also saving our legs a bit.
Re: interesting zone looki dont mind zone at times and liked it against Temple but absolutely hate in this game. us playing a zone is basically the only chance Uconn has in this game. They are outclassed down low and their guards are tired. if we let them swing the ball and take easy threes they will stay in this. if we use our depth and play physical man to man D, they have no chance.
