Five bold predictions for the region

The biggest Round of 64 upset will be ... UCLA over SMU. The Bruins are that team this year. A team that had bracketologists and fans in a collective shrug when their spot they were announced as the 11-seed -- and not even in Dayton! We've seen these major conference bubble teams overcome that tune out the noise of doubt before and roll off an upset win or two, and I think UCLA will be the team to do it this year. Norman Powell and Isaac Hamilton were monsters in the Pac-12 tournament and Powell has been great for the last month, Tony Parker has been playing well and if Kevon Looney (facial fracture) is able to play comfortably the Bruins will have enough depth to really challenge the Mustangs.

no love from them. Why does everyone love Stephen F? They will get drilled.

Would love to take down a Big 12 team to get in the sweet 16 - but we have work to do first.
