Seriously?

Seriously. That might be an all-time low for fan classlessness.

I also found it interesting that Kevin Ollie didn't shake hands with our starters. He had an assistant do it while he huddled with his team. Larry hugged all of UCONN's starters except Phillip Nolan, who didn't come over to Larry

Well he was the only cry-baby. Not sure how much you could see of it on TV but he pouted and complained all night when he didn't get a call. Granted he got whacked hard twice but both were incedental. At one point one of our guys offered to help him up and Boatwright smacked his hand away. Great player.... Lousy sport.

Does anyone know if the great pics of SMU celebrating when they saw the seeding...was that in the UConn locker room? If so, that would be awesome.

I think that was a lounge/restaurant in the XL Center.

Not surprised they booed anything SMU related all day. They did do this--

Because of the aforementioned ESPN obsession with Boatright yesterday, yes, we saw every bit of every distorted, whiny facial feature in glorious high-definition. Many of those closeups were while he was on the bench. ESPN just couldn't break away from him.

I've never seen a more whiney person than Boatright. He loves the stank face

I give him leeway because he's still pretty young, and I was probably a [deleted] around that age too, but man the histrionics got old fast.

I was impressed how clearly the SMU chants came thru the broadcast considering how outnumbered our fans were. Credit to the team for keeping the crowd quiet for most of the game. That run they made really got their crowd going. Us surviving that has got to be a confidence builder on an already even keeled team.

That might not have been a comment on the SMU band, but on the attitude that has started to permeate concerning the country.

They would go off like an atom bomb. The biggest was when they got their first bucket in the Tulsa game.
I think the place shook. But they were really quiet for so much of our game that when they did go off it was somewhat muted.

The ones around me were all fairly nice. One turned to me at half time a said.."we're done." I assured him that it was entirely possible we'd find a way to F#%& things up but he wasn't buying it.

I think they were already pretty beat up about even BEING in this situation. Then when things got ugly they were just gut-punched. All in all they would be a good crowd to have on your side. And I will re-iterate: They bought us car bombs at the Tavern.
