Tournament would never be at Moody if Dallas were to bid.

Would be at the AAC.

I have to find it, but I read an article last week where the commissioner indicated he wanted the men's tourney to stay in Orlando.

We have enough local support to fill half the arena.
I miss Troy Matthews.

When I think about it, I can see it staying in Orlando. Three conferences have their tournament in Vegas. As far as a 'destination' in the east, Orlando is pretty much all there is. Pass on nola

I hope this isn't true. The only thing worse than overbearing home-court advantage is an empty arena, and that's what Orlando risks with only UCF/USF nearby. The tourney absolutely should rotate through American Airlines Center, at least in years that the Big XII-IV+II isn't in town.

they should put it in NOLA permanently. The only AAC city that people will go to for four days.

I think Dallas makes a lot of sense- driving distance for SMU, UH, Tulsa, Memphis, and Tulane fans, and two airports where you can fly direct into from just about anywhere.

Because it's Orlando. Disneyworld. The tournament should be in a festive atmosphere as sort of a 'reward' for those there. Why are the super bowls all usually in warm, fun places. Same idea. Plus, pretty much every major airport has direct flights to Orlando. And it's on east coast. Pretty obvious.

Then it should be NOLA. Disneyland is cute for kids but NOLA is a paradise for young men wanting to be entertained. Cinderella is Sinderella here and I bet the men prefer that!

And its pretty good place for us old goats too!
