BTW, I never thought calling someone a pessimist is a personal attack. Hell, I'm a pessimist about a lot of things.

People can take things as a personal attack when one's remarks no longer refer to the content (basketball), and instead refer to the individual making the comment.

Well that's it then. We're doomed.

Huh? I think you must have me confused with someone else.

I don't get the criticism of my post outlining what we have to do to win. And I'm pointing out player by player side by side comparisons with facts (size, shooting percentages, recruiting ranks) and followed up by my opinions. Many of you make it sound like we already won: "UCLA is terrible, etc etc". UCLA is NOT terrible. All I'm saying.

As for Grant Carter, I didn't attack him personally. But since I guess it's fair game now, here goes: If you look at his posts, it's usually to criticize what someone else posts. An original thought every once and a while may make your posts worth reading. And I knew him when I went to school there at SMU. He was a [deleted] then and still sounds like a [deleted].

Enjoy the game.

It does sound like you knew me , but it is hard to tell for sure without knowing which specific insult was blocked.

This thread makes me jealous of everyone who skipped work this morning and already started drinking.
