We had 2 open shots at the end. IN this case I don't think the timeout affected the team.

You don't take a T.O in that situation, so they can actually set the press. They only had Nic covered and were mostly just running around. We had a wide open clear that we blew.

And we got the rebound and had another really good look. Don't think coaching was the issue. People can disagree about moore on Alford but the other guards were too big and athletic for Nic to guard and at the end of the day Alford made 2 rediculous shots (one frome extremely deep and another catch and shoot after a blatant push off) and he missed ucla' last shot with 2 defenders on him in his face.

Agree no timeout there (especially with UCLA out). The time for the time out should have been when CC was stuck along the sideline when the double team showed up.

That was just a bad pass to Manuel because the double team had not showed up yet.

It was just a fast 10 seconds and nobody knew what was going on.. Wish we had taken it inside and a foul

Right Canaan wasn't really in imminent danger-if we'd broken the press like we've done a million times-its piece of cake. My problem-who was looking for the next pass. You're supposed to break the press with minimal, preferably no dribbling but instead by ball movement. Oh and Time Out was not necessary there-that's just second guessing a bad play

You call a time out to work an inbounds play to nic. Game over if that ball gets in nic's hands.

Time out would have worked against us at very end- nic works best on that shot in chaos. Had two looks and they just didn't drop.

The play at the end is the same play as against Cal last year, pistol action and then a turnout for Nic...the difference is that Nic didn't make the shot. The lack of timeout there didn't cause us to lose. The players knew what to do and did it. Shot just didn't go in. That's part of it unfortunately
