Open. Not sure what to expect as they practiced Tuesday, film on Wednesday, practiced Thursday. I haven't heard what is scheduled today. Excited to see the "tempo".

I would think if they truly wanted people there they would advertise this a bit more.

Anyone know how it went yesterday? I just need a distraction from basketball

Yeah I need to hit the reset button after that gutbuster yesterday. Looking forward to seeing the pace our guys work at now.

I happened to drive by on mockingbird during practice yesterday. Seeing them out there lifted my spirits a little bit.

Re: Practice Tomorrow?
Can't make it today, but my prediction: whole team looks faster and much bigger. Players have put on the 10-20 pounds they lost going into last season through their avoidance of the S&C program/slimfast diet and whatever else happened. Matt looks great in the new offense. So do Sutton and Gaines and Malone.
I'd like to hear from folks where Yenga is playing, and who all is playing at the star. are D Rich, Shak and AJ all still at safety or have some been moved already? Where is Gresh playing?

Re: Practice Tomorrow?
I KNOW there are a lot of things that go into a successful season, including luck, injuries, etc etc. But I think our season can be primarily dictated by one thing: blocking.
Think about it. Can our Oline run block well enough to sustain drives and keep our defense off the field and chew up TOP? Can our receivers block well downfield to spring some big gains? Can our HB/TE/FB/OL protect the QB and give him time to make a 2nd or 3rd read? Can our punt return and kickoff return teams block to set up good field possession or even be a threat to spring a few TDs here and there?
Blocking and tackling. Kind of like defending and rebounding in basketball. If you can do those 2 things really well, you'll win quite a few games (and you can cover deficient talent in both with gold fashioned effort . . . something like . . . tempo). Hope we see VAST improvement in blocking this season. Do that and we might just win a few games. 6? Maybe.

Looks like SMU's defense will have a real test of its strength in the first game:

Very Fat and slow. I hope Baylor wastes snaps and uses him instead of their much better receivers.
