Ben will be one of the keys to a successful season next year...especially if we don't find another big who can contribute

We said the same thing last year and it didn't happen.

These guys need to use the trainers from the football team....the weight training for the basketball team shows very limited results...IMHO.

Guys.... Basketball players do not need to be huge lumbering hulk beasts like football players... It's actually better for Ben to stay lean for his sake... Ben doesn't need weight he should work on his jumper.

When Ben Moore had his breakout game last year (Rhode Island?), Larry Brown was asked who Moore reminded him of, and he said Derrick McKey. Brown said something about how they have similar styles, similar builds, etc.

According to this link, McKey was only 205 pounds when he was drafted.

While I agree in some regard we do need some strong physical guys inside and the existing weight training hasn't helped us. They can bulk up and stretch so as not to have issues.....See the results of the ballers at Marquette.

1st he is clearly getting pushed around at the PF. 2nd you can see he is not McKey. 3rd he needs to get stronger or move to the 3 position and work on his shot.

If he plays the 3 next year yes but if he plays the 4 then he needs to get stronger because he is clearly getting pushed around by more powerful players at the 4. Ponyscott is correct.

I think the point is that LB sees him as a 3, not as a 4. He is playing him on the post out of necessity, not what he thinks his best fit is.

Both Semi and Moore have games that translate better to the 3 than the 4 at the next level. I'm really interested to see how LB leverages that next season.
