Seriously? What on God's green earth to you base a statement like this on?

Oh well.

Maybe the better question is why do you disagree?
B/c Stallions standard of the 'right way', has nothing to do w/how this program was built. It was built the quick way, cutting corners and getting the best players we could by most means neccessary

If he is going to hint at knowing these things, I really think most of us would rather he take it elsewhere... And quit baiting us here!
You already have a legit NCAA investigation to back up claims I've made over the past few years. I've been validated on that issue

Hell, forget baiting readers here. No one who purports to be an SMU fan should do all the alluding he does, here or anywhere.
I just call it like I see it. i've never thrown SMU under the bus, just made it very clear they were reckless. Guess what, they were. It is what it is. I'm also the guy who said don't recruit Frazier, it'll be a problem etc

I think this much should be clear to anyone who has watched our program the last three years. The hope is that we "get away with it" and use that success to transition into a more stable, but still very successful, program going forward. It appears that we are moving that direction with next year's recruiting class. No choice for most of us but to wait and see. (And hope the NCAA sanctions aren't severe enough to drive our key contributors - whether they be players, coaches, or monetary supporters - away.)

And that differs from Baylor about eight years ago and as it appears A&M this year? It does happen Hoop. Seems like all is good with those two programs. Why not SMU? I need details or you are just blowing wind.

You can cut corners in the players you get, or you can cut corners in the way that you get them. Or you can do both.
Speaking hypothetically, simply because School X gets certain players in their class, while it may "look fishy," if they didn't cut corners in getting them, there isn't much to stick. Now assume a hypothetical School Y gets certain players in their class, and it looks fishy, but they cut a bunch of corners in the twilight zone known as "college basketball recruiting." A lot more may stick.

All the programs hope they "get away with it". Good lord folks, college basketball is filthy. We all know that. That is the Elephant in the room.

Well, neither of those programs in their zeal to be good, were so reckless that they got caught or turned themselves in and pleaded for mercy from the righteous NCAA. What we did w/Frazier is very common place, but EVERYONE knew we were doing it. Before he qualified, I was asked by one of our old RCs 'why we hadn't sat anyone' for him yet. I responded that 'its coming' and it was. Now, if you want details on anything beyond that, PM is your best bet.

You are kidding right? And this differs from the Derrell Arthur situation at KU how?

The truth is he blows smoke out of both ends. But the smoke he is blowing consistently blows SMU'S way and no where else. If he truly has the connections he says he does, and I do not doubt that he does, then some of that smoke would flow in other directions. Almost as if he has an agenda. Just my opinion. Come on Hoop, spread some of that love around!

Every single successful program cheats according to the NCAA rules and if you don't believe that you're a moron
