Friday Night Conflicts

This Friday evening, November 18 we have the SMU women taking on Arkansas at Moody and the men's soccer team playing a first round home NCAA game against San Francisco. Since it is a NCAA tournament game, I will go watch soccer.

Seems like a no-brainer -- it's playoff time on the Hilltop.

Good luck to the women's basketball team, but we need a BIG turnout at the soccer game! First of all, we're certainly capable of winning. Secondly, if the chips fall in the right order, we might get to host another game, and attendance will matter. So hold off on going out on the town until after the game.

maybe you were having flachbacks if you have ancestors from Ireland or Scotland, that is where Gaels are from............

Little trivia,

Didn't San Francisco have an undefeated football season in the 40's or 50's, only to have no acknowledgement of it because they fielded a black player? Sad but true, there's a book out on it.

Don't believe so but you can follow the game on your PC via CSTV Gametracker.
