Reminds me of a bunch of Baptists pointing the finger at people for drinking beer when they have whiskey under their seat

Come on Hoop, spread some of that love around!

Really, you're upset we're talking about SMU hoops sanctions on an SMU board? We did stuff and got nabbed, its topical. What agenda would I have? I've spent the last 20 plus years of my life living and breathing SMU hoops. I've called out many other programs when i've had knowledge.

Would you prefer we pretend like we did nothing, even though it's already been found out that we did?

Yes, sort of. Isn't that what every other school does? :D Besides, I will put SMU's conformance to NCAA by laws against any other Div. I school's.

I seemed to have missed that. Can you remind me?

Have followed for two years. Must have missed it. Anyway Hoop, its a new day and all is well, just remember, without sounding too pragmatic, I have learned over the years that people tell you what they want to tell you. Doesn't mean it always true. Just a word of warning for you to consider when listening to your sources/connections.

Look who's holding the spotlight not where it's shining.

I bet he's given enough of those under Armour caps and underwear away to get us hard time on Rikers Island ha ha

And that differs from Baylor about eight years ago and as it appears A&M this year? It does happen Hoop. Seems like all is good with those two programs. Why not SMU? I need details or you are just blowing wind.

Are you really saying you don't think A&M, and especially Baylor, is bending (or obliterating) any rules?

No, exactly the opposite. Sorry if my sarcasm did not translate. Meaning the NCAA is not looking their way so all must be good right? Give me a break.

The NCAA rarely discovers an NCAA violation on its own-they definitely don't have the staff or resources to do so now-its usually reactive and grows out of investigative journalism. Almost all SMU violations in our lifetime without question were uncovered first by investigative journalism. That puts a little crimp in your NCAA conspiracy theory-because they NCAA simply did not discover hardly any of it. We can go over every allegation in SMU's probation history and I bet I can show you that the NCAA did not discover the violation but simply followed the bread crumbs
