If they win by say 12 or so points that is not killing them.

Most talking heads are saying Wichita St "took KU to the woodshed" after a 13 point win. So I guess 12/13 is the demarcation line

Depends. Get up by 25 and let up at the end and they get within 12, or it is a tight game and UCLA has to foul and Gonzaga hits their FTs and extends to 12. Final score does not always indicate the way the game played.

Well I'm being conservative and it is hard to ever predict larger blow outs because teams clear benches and in the tournament the losing team never accepts the loss and will still be jacking 3s and fouling with no time left ect.

I haven't seen that quote, but perhaps it's a reference to the physical play, I believe there were a couple of bloody noses before the end, one to Kansas's best player. It was a very scrappy, physical game. Or perhaps its a reference to te rivalry, Kansas has long refused to play Wichita, and the Shockers fans resent it.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Gonzaga win by 20+.

Just read on the net that one guy predicts UCLA is closing in on KY. He says "The Bruins continue to carry some luggage following that goaltending call against SMU", but he thinks they have a chance.

Makes US look better? No, it would just continue to add unnecessary fuel to the NCAA selection committee's [flawed/corrupt/bogus] reasoning for their decision to slot them into The Dance in the first place...

Personally, I hope UCLA's ugly little slipper is summarily smashed into tiny, indistinguishable bits by the Zags.

And then I hope the Gears Of True Reason are already turning for some serious consideration about rules changes that will allow review of things like "the call" for this next season, along with plenty of "Goal Tend" chants in Moody come November.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

Zags are rolling. I can't wait for them to visit Moody next season. That will be fun.

I can believe we lost to either of these two looking at them tonight.

Alford missing free throws. ugh. with MK in Houston, we had a great shot to beat the Zags.
