I didn't realize that former SMU footballer and son of the great Frank Glieber was doing this:

He's had that job for awhile, sounds like fun. He's president of the Lettermans Asn., now, too.ponyboy wrote:I didn't realize that former SMU footballer and son of the great Frank Glieber was doing this:

Great quote:
"The State Fair of Texas is a place where everyone should come each year to renew their Texan membership card, or for those from around the world to come and learn why Texans are so proud to be from the Lone Star State."
I hope his is ready to fight the idiot developers that currently want to destroy the State Fair, to "fix" fair park.

Maybe once Chad gets things rolling he can setup a marquee opponent to play us at the Cotton Bowl during the Fair

thats a lot of land to have a fair for a few wks a year. Need to fix it up or figure it out. Not sure the answer. The neighborhood needs fixing.Planter's Punch wrote:Great quote:

You mean turning it back into a park instead of a parking lot?Planter's Punch wrote:Great quote:

Fair Park needs help. Badly. But proposals that drastically alter the fair (such as the one from the Boston group that includes removing the Midway and moving the State Fair to the northeast corner) should be deprioritized
