Your title is confusing, but wow, that is very surprising.

His buyout is over $9 million. I'd be surprised if OSU put up that kind of cash to get rid of him. Maybe if the whole wind energy thing had worked out better...

I don't think this is going to happen. Just goes to show you that a school should not give a contract out that is extremely difficult to get out of at any point in time.

Not even T boone would be silly enough to write that check. Got to wait a year.

I don't think the Oklahoman would report this with some credible information.

Ford's in game coaching can be questionable but he regularly gets the pokes to the tournament. He's also still pretty young. They should give him some time. And while Ford recruits great talent he's not recruiting Barnes' NBA all-star caliber talent. And that's why I kind of get the Barnes firing.

I wonder who would they go for if they parted ways with Ford.

Theoretically they could get anybody if T. Boone wants to throw a gazillion dollars at a new coach. Also, Ford has a $9 million buyout. Okie St.'s a good job with a lot of history but it's still Okie St. and you have to live in Stillwater. I don't see Gregg Marshall, Shaka Smart-types going there unless the money is outrageous. The SFA and Sam Houston coaches would take that job in a sec.

He's such an insufferable [deleted]. Couldn't stand all of his non-hoops whining on social media.
