Re: Bob Knight out at ESPNexcellent news. Hopefully Walton is next.
Re: Bob Knight out at ESPNThank goodness. His broadcasts are always about him. Sometimes I might learn something, but he's terribly unengaged and too full of himself.
Re: Bob Knight out at ESPNAlthough I wasn't a big fan of his when he was the coach at I.U. as a broadcaster for college basketball I think he was the best out there. jmo
Re: Bob Knight out at ESPNHe is very good at breaking down the game. Unfortunately, the fact that he's a misrible SOB gets in the way of his job, and always has.

Re: Bob Knight out at ESPNI loved him, thought he added a really unique perspective. Hell, I love Walton even more. Less nuts and bolts broadcasting, more characters
Re: Bob Knight out at ESPNI enjoyed his commentary but more enjoyed both his curmudgeon old man nuttiness and being able to hate him. Kind of like aggies in that way.

Re: Bob Knight out at ESPN
I'm a Laker fan an to this day I'm still wondering how Luke Walton was on the roster. Bill's broadcasting drives me to drinking.
Re: Bob Knight out at ESPNhe is only good when he talks about acid trips and the Dead
Re: Bob Knight out at ESPNI love Bill Walton! I miss the days of him and Steve Snapper Jones on NBA on NBC. Bob Knight is ok.
Re: Bob Knight out at ESPN
the man has a teepee in his yard. Hearing him compare Jerry Garcia and John Wooden and similarities is a trip

Re: Bob Knight out at ESPN
Walton is incredible. The best thing about him is he knows he isn't taken seriously and he doesn't care
Re: Bob Knight out at ESPNI am always entertained when Walton is on. I think he whips the play by play guys arse with his
off the wall insights, but that is fun too. He is a true historian of the game and he is always reminding me of the old guys that I grew up following. Beat the hell out of anybody!
