Re: Shake wins Tulsa World's POTYBest part of article: "College choice: SMU"!
Long live Inez Perez!
Re: Shake wins Tulsa World's POTYI liked it also that a NHS sudent with a 3.94 GP was quoted as saying, "I'm going to summer school on June 1 to try to get a head start."
I'm looking forward to seeing him on TV this fall and wish him all the best at SMU and after.
Re: Shake wins Tulsa World's POTY
From another interview http://www.insidethehall.com/2014/06/17 ... -iu-visit/ : Academics are also an important piece for Milton, who has a 3.94 GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society and enjoys doing volunteer work in his free time. “My dedication for academics definitely comes from my mom. She always pushes me to do well with my academics,†Milton said. “She gets mad if I get a B in a class. So I’m definitely held to a high standard.
Re: Shake wins Tulsa World's POTYI am really excited to see him come. Shake seems like a great kid. I think that Shake and Sed are really gonna bring it for Larry and SMU. It would have been great to add Michael Edwards. I see our staff out there working hard, so I have hope for the rest of the class.
Go Ponies!
Re: Shake wins Tulsa World's POTYAs a side note to this, I like that we are after Sed's teammate from Corona, Ike Anigbogu. I know SMU needs a big now, but he would be a great addition for the next class.
Go Ponies!
Re: Shake wins Tulsa World's POTYPretty awesome when you can find high quality players who also are high character kids from good backgrounds. Wish every mom was a little upset about their kids getting Bs. I certainly experienced that, and I'm better for it.
Going to love watching Sed and Shake for the next few years. And Jarrey. Don't want to forget him.
