So do I. But still, last year was my first game in new Moody, and damn if it wasn't nice buying two pounders for an SMU sporting event and not having yellow jackets go bananas when they saw alcohol.

What about Deep Ellum, I know a couple of friends back in Dallas dig their beers. I look forward to getting back next season for some football and basketball games.

Ask bar owners whether they prefer to carry Deep Ellum over any other local brewer. They have a few real hits and tons of misses, but they were the first big ones and they have more marketing dollars than anyone. Plus a great name.

Peticolas, Community, & Lakewood are much more consistent and overall 'better' products.

Agree Has anyone tried the new brewery in Deep Ellum? Blanking on the name, and no it's not the same as Deep Ellum brewery

Braindead Brewery. I walked by it while at the Deep Ellum Arts Festival. They weren't serving their brews yet (I believe the sign said it would be a couple of weeks) but they have a cool bar/patio step up. Should be a nice addition to DE.

craft beer has a ceiling, I'm sure of it, and we have to be getting near saturation, right?

Don't tell that to Denver, Portland, San Diego, or an area like Asheville, NC. If the beer is good there is plenty of room. Plus the big boys are in shock over the overall market rise of the craft beers. Dallas ought to have plenty of room. Or the beer drinkers there areally stuck on crap. Go Ponies!

Braindead will start selling their beer in May. Right now it's 25 craft Taps and a pretty amazing food menu. Worth a trip, right across from Pecan Lodge. Tons of seating inside and outside.

I thought that last year. It just keeps growing. Two hundred breweries at last week's Big Tx Beer Fest in Fair Park with a few thousand attendees.

Why is Franconia always excluded?
If Europe is the example then we are nowhere near saturation on local breweries
