Dude has had a crazy career turnaround. He was just about a total has-been when Surfer Dude came out, but then he does Lincoln Lawyer, Mud, Dallas Buyers Club, and Interstellar in like a 3 year period, and wins an Oscar. I wonder if he changed agents or something. He spent far too long doing stupid romantic comedies and cheesy action movies.

He was great in true detective. Total bat shart crazy character he played.
