Baltimore Sun reporting that Aldrich Robinson injured a knee while working in OTAs with his new team, the Baltimore Ravens. Initial prognosis, it says, is a sprain.
Of course, the article also quoted his times in the 100 and 200, so who knows how accurate anything is.
"At SMU, Robinson ran the 100-meter dash in 10.49 seconds and 200 in 21.48 seconds and .........." REALLY?

I guess they could have timed him in those distances.

my favorite Alrdick Robsinson moment was going to El Paso in 2010 to watch us play Utep. There was a tv timeout and he had his helmet off talking [deleted] to the utep sideline and then connected with KP on a post to the house right after. Blew by everyone in the utep secondary, it was awesome

I believe he ran 10.4 as a senior in high school at a legit track meet (i want to say at UT's track). Don't think he ever ran at SMU....they probably just listed his best high school track times. Hope he's ok.

I feel like it was from the 50 yard line or so. Did he score both td's that game? We lost 28-14. That win for utep gave Mike Price another year as coach.

That was the game where the announcers once said "Negative yards were bad in this situation."

I was at that game. We lost 28-14 right?
I liked El PAso as a place to go, the fans are tossers but in a way that's kind of fun.

Hard to beat his 96-yard touchdown (from Bo Levi Mitchell, I think) against ECU.
Yes, Rich Phillips called it off the air during the commercial break before the play.

Hmm. Well there was also an 80 yard er to Aldrick against Tulane that Padron was apparently trying to throw out of bounds but underthrew it and next thing you know the game is turning around
