I think I read somewhere he was waiting for a Texas offer. May be wrong or confusing players but take that with a grain of salt

Texas has been his favorite school. As for his build-that's not really a problem for a big time hitter like Carlisle. He'll be 195-200 pounds by the time he arrives on campus

So what else does this class need, 1-2 more offensive linemen, 1 lb, 2 dts?

Have you even watched his film? Or anyone's film? Do you even know what film is?

blackoutpony I don't know why you want to be so insulting to SMU fans. I was making a joke. We lost a player to Texas State and some members were upset. So I made a joke. Yes I know all about film. I have watched more football film than I wish to remember. Not only have I watched it, I have graded all players on the film. I have also scouted high school teams at games. So in return I ask you Blackoutpony - Have you graded players on film? Have you scouted Texas high school teams on a field? (I was a coach in Texas and Okla).
And by the way, the number of offers a player gets is important. BUT there are many other factors that come into play when picking players to recruit. Don't get too hung up on one thing.

Forgive me if the sarcasm gets lost on here. Mine does too, so my bad there. I just have a pet peeve for stupid, so sorry for jumping on you.
Second. I have never had to grade Texas High School teams; only California ones. I coached D Line for a couple years after I got back to CA after I graduated, but have taken a hiatus because my real job, that pays more than cheeseburgers, involves a lot of travel. I also coach wrestling and still get to do that when I can at least. So yes, I do know what I'm looking at when I throw on a kids film.
