Footballdad can you help us out?
Sure, I can help you. Anyone who followed the team on TV, or actually showed up to the games, would know exactly what QB's played last year. (Severt was not one of them) Multiple roster mistakes, this just seems to be one of them.
I'm aware he didn't play. It was more of a joke because of your undying love for him.

I have watched, attended, or listened to every SMU game since before footballdad's son was born. I had no idea whether or not Severt had played. I could look it up but I would not know without doing so. Now call me a bad fan.

Mrydel, you're a bad fan. I'm sitting here and don't feel a breeze at all. Not one bit.

Severt taking advantage of the new dining facilities. Keep that up and he'll be in the rotation at defensive tackle.
Back off Warchild seriously.

After watching or attending every game last year you had no idea whether or not a 6'5", 250lb white QB had played or not? Just curious how you wouldn't know that as closely as you seem to follow the team and this board? Calling you a bad fan? Compared to most you seem to be about as good as they get at SMU.

footballdad is from Westlake? Little known fact: [Severt] grew 9 inches during 6th grade. That's huge! I'm not much of a fan either. I only knew of the four other QBs that got action.
BTW, great stretch this year with the first six games in Texas.

haha, a dad wouldn't misspell his kid's first name, right? Man, 6'4" 256 is big. It'll be interesting to see whether Ben Hicks emerges as the starter.

Nah Matt davis has it locked down. If ben hicks starts it will be due to injury but I do expect he'll probably get some solid pt

Did Garrett lose the job to Matt or get hurt? Matt led the team to its only victory but stat-wise, both were similar. Matt, of course, was more highly touted.
PASSING GP Effic Cmp-Att-Int Pct Yards TD Long Avg/G KRSTICH,Garrett 10 90.3 99-181-7 54.7 855 2 53 85.5 DAVIS,Matt 10 98.0 89-164-5 54.3 855 3 67 85.5
Didn't Ben Hicks run HCCM's offense at Waco Midway?

Matt is a much better fit in Chad's offense than Garrett. I bet Hicks redshirts unless someone gets hurt.
