Didn't Ben Hicks run HCCM's offense at Waco Midway?
That doesn't mention Matt's running impact, which was much greater than the passing of either QB. Matt will start next year, as folks have mentioned since fall practice. He should have started the second game last season. Hicks won't beat out Davis, but I wouldn't write him off as a QB. I thought he was pretty average most of the Spring but 1) he was straight out of HS and 2) he looked a lot better in the second half of the spring game when he got to play behind the first string line. Hicks did get last minute offers from UM and UF, but a last minute desperation offer from a major school is a lot different from the other recruits we have that were offered early on by big schools.

You can't really even consider passing stats from last year. Obviously none of the QBs were any good, but they were all victimized by an atrocious offensive line, no running game, and diminutive wide receivers that had a bad case of the drops.

Don't forget their disinterested coach who quit on them after two games. Considering everything that went wrong, it was a miracle that they played as good as they did.
Do unto others before they do unto you!!

Congrats to you/him.
Unfortunately this isn't 2003, and these aren't UCF fans.
To the delight of many, including myself, I'll be making a real effort to waste less and less time here going forward.
Can't make a 'minority' comment any more without being shouted down, called names, or accused of treason, by the 'majority'.
It's all good, looking forward to the season.

I understand and respect your position I think if you had talked a little less smack about SMU you may have found different results with the fans. None the less I wish you and your son the very best.
