Isn't he the worst guy in the oline? And isn’t it rumored he is not starting?

Certainly not the worst starter. He will most likely start, but played a lot of the Spring at Guard with Barns at center. I thought he started the spring in poor form, but improved the last two scrimmages.

If Myers, Hyder, and/or Brown show up ready to play, he may be moved back to center. But the players I talked to and heard on other interviews were really impressed with Barns. It might be a little more likely that one of those three players would compete for McCarty's spot instead of moving Lasecki back.
