well Nach, you also predicted 3-8 for this year as recently as last week. As a matter of fact you were pretty emphatic about it. Must be some kind of reverse Jedi mind trick or something.

Following said bowl, SMU either a) gets trounced and we hear the bellyachers saying we should be lucky w/ even sniffing a bowl; b) a close game lost in the last three minutes in which case cut & paste the comments after Marshall, ECU or possibly Tulsa; c) the Ponies win and it's anticlimactic for fear of being labled a 'sunshiner' who needs to be warned about how a 7-6 record does not warrant a celebration on any level, and that tougher times are coming with x# of graduating seniors.

Did I leave anything out?

right on. message boards are not the place to go if you're looking for original thoughts, mine included. all part of the "dumbing down" of america.

i particularly like it when posters start out with "it will be interesting to see if [insert the always obvious]". and the use of things like "a$m" and s**t like that is sooooo overdone and unoriginal. and while i'm at it, the "if we had won this game then blah blah blah" or that idiot tcu guy that posts here and says "if the SMU/tcu game was played again today blah blah blah". well, we didn't win "that game" and we did beat tcu. so here's one: if rice would have beaten texas then texas wouldn't be going to the rose bowl. if joe pa had retired or been fired then penn state wouldn't be winning this year with joe pa as coach.
