SMU Swimming - Natatorium?

Postby PonyTime » Tue Jul 28, 2015 3:15 pm

Any news on this. From a quick search, this is all I could find and they must have scrapped those plans since it was labeled as a renovation...

Seems like we would have put a roof on it.

Old plans. This plan was for the Bishop site, where Perkins Natatorium was located before it was demolished. This plan has been dismissed. Short story, we remain in limbo with east of Central the likely site.

I thought I had heard of plans for an Olympic Sports set up on the east side of Central, with soccer and swimming/diving moving over there. I would imagine funding remains an issue but really don't know where any plans might stand
