I usually bring at least two guns to every game, and no one has ever asked to confiscate them.

Come on now, don't let facts get in the way of some insurance company's play on a profit grab. That just would not be right.

If the insurance company doesn't make money, no insurance company (unless the government bails out AIG)

Now I feel compelled to go 1 of 2 possible ways:

1. Get creative about sneaking things in just for the sake of doing it.
2. Utilize the clear bags, but pack it with medicine boxes for really contagious or nasty diseases, and then get real close to the yellow shirts while they search it

That rule is heavily abused in row 8 section 104. Dumping water from your umbrella on those behind you is permitted.

No female in my entourage will even step foot in an SMU football game so I don't have anything to worry about.

Mandated by Risk Management and in line with industry trends.

I know that you are tasked with putting a positive spin on the Athletic Department's decisions, but when you're left with "everyone else does it" as the positive spin, you know it's not a good policy

How many bombings had there been at Boston's marathon? It only takes one incident.

A free society requires accepting an amount of risk. I am willing to accept the unbelievably small chance of an incident, far, far less likely than dying on 75 on the way to the game or coming on my beer on the Boulevard, to avoid the demeaning and attendance discouraging hassle of clear bags.

I read this yesterday and instantly thought of all the girls and ladies with their hundred or thousand dollar purses on the Boulevard to go with their hundred or thousand dollar outfits.
The idea that those people would lug around a clear plastic bag tote is laughable.

You obviously don't hang-out with the right females and/or lack any control over them whatsoever.

Agreed that this is a big deal for women, especially those hauling kids and all the [Deleted] that comes with them. Security undertakes bag checks already....that should be good enough. Its not like they run everyone through a metal detector and do a full pat-down...that would be the only way to really make sure someone wasn't smuggling in dangerous objects.

When you're out of diapers I'll debate control / women / relationships etc.
