In the Baylor game, will the attendance top 30k and will SMU cover? The UNT game will be competitive and is a needed win if the Ponies will show real progress (3-4 wins). UConn, Tulsa and James Madison are three other very competitive games.
Game 2 just seems too early to expect much and hope ppl aren't banged up after Baylor. Maybe the D will just be worn out.
We don't get to play Uconn this year.
Our competitive games should be UNT, JMU, Tulsa, and USF.

What about Tulane?
My bad. I still have memory issues caused by the time June pulled Defeat out of the Jaws of Victory against them a few years ago.

Foundation Repair Company?
Chemical manufacturing.
I think we should be worthy of minority-owned status for being owned by a UNT alum and NOT being in the crack-chemical manufacturing business.

Last year UNT won the game 43-6 as if you didn't remember. We were terrible and they played very well.
We will be better this year but are we good enough to beat the Mean?
Regardless, I will be there and yelling for the Mustangs.
A close win or a loss at home would not be a good sign of the talent level we have but I will be cheering these young men on regardless of if it is a close win, loss or blowout win.
- UNT prez is stating on social media there are over 25 student busses that will be traveling to the SMU game
- The full Mean Green Brigade band will be performing at the game
- Don't have any hard numbers yet but some are saying it could be 4-5K+ UNT fans with walk-up etc. We should have a better idea on this in the coming weeks.
We had a very respectable turnout at the Heart of Dallas Bowl a couple of years ago and I think there are a fair amount of alums/fans in Dallas who won't drive to Denton but will make it to a game in Dallas proper. This combined with the fact it is our first game (usually we play a body bagger to open the season) seems to point to our biggest crowd at Ford yet. I believe the last time we played there was in the Dodge regime and had a decent crowd but this one should be a whole lot bigger due to the promotions etc..

Should be fun.
Glad to hear it. I would hope a school with 35,000 students and less than an hour's drive from SMU would bring a solid contingent of fans/students. Look forward to a great atmosphere!
