Craft beer to be sold in Ford

I'm going to pull a Stallion and claim credit for whining about the craft beer "model" well over a year before they implemented it. Give Lakewood extra taps and convince them it's a good idea to release a limited edition barrel aged Imperial-Stout called "Peruna."

I'm pretty sure I was a founding member of the "whining about not having craft beer" club as well.

I hope this sort of partnership carries over to Moody as well.

The Grapevine products were available in Moody last season. But adding Deep Ellum would be nice.

Local craft beers will now be sold in a beer kiosk at section 103. Looks like Deep Ellum Blonde, Fireman's 4, Grapevine Monarch, and Grapevine Sir William's Brown Ale are in the offing. Yay to not having to drink bunny tinkle.

I'm guessing it has to do with the distributor. Best beer in Dallas is Velvet Hammer, though not very sessionable and therefore not very game worthy.

I think it's less of a distribution issue as you can find both Bud (Ben E Keith) and Miller (Andrews) around the hilltop. All of the beers listed are in cans, which is their reasoning I believe. Glad it's finally happening.

Totally agree! I hope I didn't come off as not being thankful. This is a great development from an athletic department that continues to respond. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
