Davis Webb/Mahonnes combined for 4100 yards and 41 TDs as youngsters for Tech-that's pretty salty for young QBs

TCU will win by 3 touchdowns, but will have a few losses this year.

Would either of you like to place a bet on that?

We'll see. Minnesota hung with them last year in Ft. Worth. It will be a totally different animal in Minneapolis.

I agree that TCU is overrated but I can't see them losing to Minnesota. I would love to be wrong though.

30-7 is hanging with them? It was 24-0 at the half. How is that hanging with them?

actually TCU's victory over Minnesota was one of the more dominant defensive games I've seen in awhile. They had like 5 First Downs going into 4th Q if I recall. but there is no doubt Minnesota was impressive down the stretch-impressive even in some losses

As opposed to a young QB who had 2010 yards passing, 573 yards rushing, and 18 TDs in only 8.5 games? That includes not taking snaps as a QB in camp. That's in a non-hurry up offense. That's with a HORRIBLE OC.

Pretty amazing leader too as shown by throwing 3 TD passes in the final 2:30 of the game for a come from behind victory in a bowl game. How did Tech's young hotshots do in their bowl game?

TCU got unbelievably lucky with injuries throughout the course of last year and it's unrealistic to think that will happen two years in a row; and while they get BU at home they still have to go Norman, Stillwater, Lubbock, and Manhattan. Thursday night against Minnesota up there isn't a gimme for them either. I think they go 9-3 or 10-2. I think Baylor is the best team in the Big 12 again this year (imagine saying that 10 years ago?!) and OU finishes second

I think Tech will bounce back this year. I've got them at 8-4 or 9-3. I like A&M's chances in the SEC West, we'll see what they have against ASU this weekend but I like them to win at least 8 (if not more). I think Texas really struggles this year with no QB -- don't see them beating ND, TCU, Baylor, OU, or OSU and I wouldn't be surprised if they miss a bowl
