Tech would beat UH by at least 2 TDs on a neutral field this year

Just hoping we can have the kind of success on the field that TCU has had the last decade

Didn't TCU lose quite a bit on defense this year?

Regardless, I find this list fairly accurate. Though is UNT really bottom of the barrel bad? After watching our game against them last year you wouldn't think that :p

I'm not sure how anyone could possibly know that. Houston is in a similar boat as SMU but with more talent.

I expect the inconsistent Boykin to return for TCU (you saw some of it even in a dominant bowl win, he threw 3 INTs) and TCU to lose multiple games.

I don't know who will be better this year either. But UH was better last year. This year we have a MUCH better OC. Head coach can't be worse. QB has some experience and a full camp in that position. We should definitely be better this season. It's a question of how much better Tech will be this year over last. I'm sure their defense will be better with the new DC, but we've been saying that for almost 20 years with every new DC they hire.

As painful as it is to type this, I think UH would smoke the tortillas. Herman would coach circles around coach bro.

Tech has significantly better talent on both sides of the ball. They damn near beat Baylor last year at Jerryworld -- UH lost to UTSA

The best you can say is they almost won a game? I could just as easily argue that they almost lost to a 6-6 FCS Central Arkansas. Their best win (and only win against a team with a winning record) was against 7-6 UTEP. UH beat a team on the road that finished in the top 25. UH won a bowl game against a P5 team. The best P5 team Tech beat was 3-9 Kansas.
