Agree except the end of the first half and it doesn't seem he's made a great read and throw in forever.

Double edged sword with Davis. He needs the reps but you do not want him hurt.

I was very impressed.

Game turned around as soon as Davis went out with cramping.
I think Baylor still would have romped late, but game Definitely turned.

Davis is very critical to our world this year. when he went out the spigot opened.

Purely coincidence. Colbert came in and almost had a huge competition down field and got an unfortunate spot on his 3rd down run. Matt davis came in the next series a d it was business as usual, minus the scoring.

Total stud. He can't play this physical though. He'll be injured and out for the season before conference play.

It was no coincidence. We punt on 4th and short play after he came out.. TD Baylor.
Punt next series on 4th and short with Colbert in there.
BAYLOR TD.

Once that happened the winds were clearly in Baylor sails and we punt next two series again on 4th and shorts with Davis in the game.
The white flag had already gone up and it all started with DaviS going out.
Two more quick tds after those punts.

Nice fight by the team though. McCarty plus Davis killed it. Then you punt Baylor to the 4 and they go for it twice and end up scoring a TD. That sequence was the turning point.

I admit I was one of those that questioned whether he could be the man after last year. However, now I realize it was more that he was a square peg in June June's round offense than Matt not being a D1 QB. I underestimated how good he could be in this offense.
