Ahhh, the fun we used to have back then!
That was a great party... Did that get nixed by the administration or political correctness enforcement division?
Wasn't a swimmer, just knew a few and liked a good fiesta myself. I believe I attended the last rendition of this glorious extravaganza. I believe Turner let the swimmers know that he didn't appreciate the 4-5 day "vacation" by the lake and would take action if it was held again. That was one hell of a good weekend. Plenty-o kegs, trashcan punch fruit that was marinating in everclear and vodka for a day before the rest of the liquid was added. And nothing like waking up naked and seeing some random local fishing 20 feet away.

I think there's a lagnaf shirt somewhere in my storage, although I was not a swimmer.

Didn't they have their own "groupies". Seem to remember they were called that Naiads or something like that.
Peruna is my mascot!

I wrote a defense of the SMU bros on edsbs on Saturday morning. In honor of the American constitution’s guarantee of (merely) adequate counsel, I will offer the following arguments in defense of the indefensible.
1. This is just before halftime, and these bros are still at the game. In previous years, they would have departed long ago for the best tailgate atmosphere west of the Mississippi (or never left the Boulevard at all). It helps that beer is now sold in the stadium, but still, these bros chose $8 beer and football in the hot sun over a shady mixer with free alcohol.
2. They are actually watching the game and appear to have some understanding of the massive football blunder that just occurred. Throw the ball into the damn greasy knoll, Matt Davis!
3. No one is checking their phone.
4. Before you judge, I challenge you to examine any SEC student section and not find the same bro-tastic bro-ness, but in greater numbers.

I don't know why...but I can't stop watching the LSU shot. Nothing says LSU v 'bama like a drunk t-rex in a cheap jacket.

I keep telling people that swamp gases can do some serious damage. Mix that stuff with alcohol and you get dudes thinking they're dinosaurs at football games.

That guy is seriously funny. The world is erupting around him and he thinks to do a T rex - up on the wall no less? Genius. The stomping is a nice touch....
