McNulty is a disaster! His OL isn't helping him at all, but the guy just throws the ball up for grabs.

nice to win a game when you don't play very well; lots of mistakes tonight but fortunately UNT could not take advantage

Two turnovers inside the 15 and one stop at the one. Could have been a much bigger win. Need to make sure that we can score when we get inside the 20.

Still sticking with 4 wins. JMU, Tulane, and somebody else. Need a second playmaker receiver with hands and speed and team is young/still learning how to win. Otherwise, maybe we get to 6. But I'm still sticking with 4 for now. (Temple, Cincy, Houston are no jokes, ECU not too bad either).

we were bad in the red zone tonight and I thought some of that was bad play calling; coaches are learning, too. way too many mistakes tonight. Just keep improving

Lots to work on, many inexperienced mistakes, too many penalties, but progress never-the-less. By the end of the season this team will be dangerous. Loved to see so many frosh play and playing well. Large number of kids getting into the game, contributing and getting valuable experience. Yes, progress. Go Ponies.

I agree. Play calling in the middle of the game inside the red zone was not good. Too many straight up the gut calls that got stuffed. We could easily have had several more TDs with better calls. Our O line is simply not that talented and lacks the size to consistently plow straight ahead. Hopefully, in the future they will get the receivers involved in short yardage situations. Goal line picks, crossing patterns and delays out of the back field can be effective.

those inside the tackle runs on 1st and 2nd downs could have at least gone to the short side of the field to allow Davis to escape/roll to his right on 3rd down
