If it is a ruling that could be detrimental to SMU, you never show it. If detrimental to the opposition I would certain like to see it but there may be a show them all or show them never rule.
I recall a game a few years ago that a replay was shown on a questionable call and the opposing coaches saw it and called time out to give time for review. Jones went ballistic and rightly so.
Of course after the review is announced and underway I would think it could be shown.

This is what I'm wondering about specifically. If it's already under review and you're watching it on TV, you get to see it over and over from as many angles as they have, but if you're watching it live you don't get to see it at all? It makes no sense to me.
