August 2017 Predictions

1. We're receiving votes preseason Top 25, even with uncertainty at QB (Hicks and D. Moore battling for starting job)

2. Tom Herman is the head coach at Texas

3. The IPF gets announced

4. The Big 12 still hasn't expanded

5. ND seriously flirting with ACC for football, and about to set off the next massive wave of realignment

1) SMU comes in at #21 preseason 2017 and preseason fav to win AAC and Cotton Bowl bid :)

3) IPF opens for 2017 season.

Zero percent chance the IPF is finished and ready for the 2017 season. Good chance we won't break ground on it until spring of 2016 at the earliest.

Isn't ND already in the ACC (part time) for football? Not sure if that's a prediction.

And why will Tom Herman go to UT? Why can't Chad Morris be the new UT coach? Mike Cavan was once in the running (kind of, not really) to take over the UT job.

I believe they are a full member in Olympic sports only. Football has to play four or five games against AAC teams a year

We don't want Chad Morris to be the next UT head coach, we want him to be the SMU coach for a long time...like that guy 30 miles west.

Most likely Tom Herman will be plucked away since UH won't be able to match a bigger jobs pay.

When the deal was signed, it was for 5 football games per season (don't know if that has been altered). All other ACC sponsored sports are full members (for example Hockey is not).
