Ugh. Hate purple. Makes me puke seeing people wearing it, period.

It is exciting to see SMU claw back from the June Jones years.
The players are fired up and winning games.
If there is any team that can beat TCU, regardless of circumstances, it is SMU.

Y'all are going to be kicking yourselves if SMU wins and you're not there....

Good luck and may the best team win.

I actually think we'll play well and competitively most of the game.

Think about it . . . we came out super hyped up against Baylor and played great offensively for almost 3 quarters. Then we came out flat to start against UNT after the hype of the Baylor game but overcame a lot of mistakes showing mental toughness in the second half. As Matt Davis keeps saying, we played one good half each game and it's time to put a full game together. I think our guys have settled down a little, the coaches will push them hard regarding the mistakes (fundamentals, ball security, etc) but the team will be hyped up playing against TCU but not overly so (I don't think our guys will be intimidated at all playing there - as Andy said, they've faced Boykin a few times now . . . Doctson is the one that most concerns me actually). Anyway, having 2 games under our belts that both had some very good things to draw on and to learn from, I think we'll see a more complete game from the guys. Now, do I think we win? No. But I very much want and expect us to cover and make a respectable showing. I hope our defense has some confidence from last game and stays focused on the fundamentals. Keep them under 50! And run the ball effectively. :-)

It's as true a rivalry as any in college football, not as heralded as others but still legit. Anything can happen when the kids get fired up.

That was a fun day, one of the better Jones games. Almost blew it 2nd half. The homer calls are hilarious. Rich gets pretty excited.

That was the best game of the June Jones era I ever experienced.

Great video - how about this one that has that awesome call by Rich Phillips with a little different angle.

Directed by our own Thaddeus Matula and produced by Pony Fans.

Not to be a critic but I always laughed at Kyle given that girly low five in the tunnel and then the dancers all out of sync.
Go Mustangs beat TCU
