Since we play NTSU the first game of the season I could see a pretty good contingent of SMU fans going to Denton. Last time we played Baylor in the opening game and we already looked like the worst team in America so I think a lot of fans saw that performance and said screw it. Sadly I did attend.
Back off Warchild seriously.

An example of Walmart fans is the Arkansas Razorbacks. Most of the fans are not graduates of the U of A or ever attended.

SMU needs Walmart fans. Or really just fans in general.

I hate to say it, but it is true. After I was told several times to stop cheering so loud and standing up someone then commented that UNT was way louder than us....no SH*T Sherlock, when you get heckled by your own fans for cheering/standing the opposing team is going to be louder if they bring even a 5K fans.

If you stand all game, you might block their view of the mini-Mustang cheerleaders...

I learned at opera class that you can sit and yell just as loud; it just takes a little practice and breath control.

The Minis aren't on the field during the game.

Could have fooled me. Or were those the 57 slot receivers on the team during June's tenure?

The shushers are not on this board. I am pretty sure each and every person on this board is pretty LOUD and rowdy at the games.

Now - I can guarantee that there are rowdy fans who have kids who are mini-mustangs on this board, and they probably don't appreciate the commentary.

You want those fans to have their kids dress up in Burt Orange or Maroon and send them to be indoctrinated in Austin or College Station?

Getting heckled by your own fans for cheering should never, ever happen at an SMU football game...just not right.
