If every team can find a P5 team to play them. Could get like hoops where LB has a tough time finding P5 teams that want to play us.

Just thinking they travel well
Re: Good luck from a Coog
Like Stanford, Michigan and Gonzaga?

And if you can get your lady on the mountaintop next to the stadium she will do nice things to you. All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Good luck from a CoogNever forget.
Re: Good luck from a Coog
LB has publicly stated that he not a lot of P5 teams want to play us and that we were fortunate get a home and home with Michigan. Gonzaga is not a P5 team. #HammerDown
Re: Good luck from a CoogYeah this year's bball ooc is the last we will get to play us at moody. Best hope is to host a tourney at AAC and invite a bunch of big 12 schools.
Re: Good luck from a Coog
We have Stanford coming and I think we will be able to sign up a few more. I feel that the reluctance of good basketball schools to play SMU at Moody has more to do with it being a guaranteed loss for them than SMU being non p5 right now. If that's the case then do the Boise and play them at their places, beat them, also set up games at the AAC or neutral sites. Isn't basketball OOC scheduling done a year or so before the game rather than a few years out as in football?
Re: Good luck from a Coog
I wouldn't count on us playing them again. Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Good luck from a Coog
If SMU pulls the plug on that series, they have a lot of games to fill. Assuming there's no interest in MAC or Sunbelt opponents, can they find enough from CUSA and MWC? Finding four P5 schools to play each year will be tough (unless they are willing to play most of them on the road).
Re: Good luck from a Coogisn't the UNT series home and home? If so, I don't think we would have any buyout, just walk away with a reasonable notice provisions. I am not opposed to playing UNT let's say twice in every six year period, but the every year trumped up rivalry thing is a mistake. All sorts of interesting teams we could play. How bout BYU in early October? As an indy, they need games, would probably like to play in Dallas, and they draw well.
Re: Good luck from a CoogWe aren't going to drop the series two years after signing it.
Re: Good luck from a CoogMissed this from Brett Vito's DMN write-up last Sunday morning:
"If all goes according to UNT’s plans, the Mean Green are going to be playing SMU on an annual basis for a long time. Both teams have an out in a couple of years, one UNT won’t take."
Re: Good luck from a Coog
We will if CM wants to. He wasn't around when the series was signed. Playing NT does absolutely nothing to help us get into a P5 conference. SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
