Every game left on the schedule is winnable

Postby East Coast Mustang » Sun Sep 20, 2015 12:22 pm

Wow, who would've thought that a few weeks ago? I don't think TCU is the third best team in the country (mainly because of injuries) but damn we gave them everything they wanted in their house last night. We won't face an offense or a defense as good as them last night for the rest of the season. I think the lack of turnout last night by SMU fans was due to everyone thinking we'd get smoked by default...and I think we can put that mentality to bed now. I bet we'll have busloads of SMU fans in Fort Worth in 2017 when Chad really has this thing rolling

Hope we have a good turnout on Saturday and come ready to play vs JMU...they are no pushover

I am not real worried about JMU, especially after SMU gave it to the #3 FBS team in the country for 4 quarters. ECU will be the key to a successful season though and if SMU can pull a big W there we may go bowling. Houston will be a blast, but horrible Thursday night kickoff will make it a nightmare to travel there.

Edit: fixed error

I have a hard time believing we'll beat Houston, but agreed outside of that.

Hopefully JMU has as many turnovers next weekend as they did this weekend.

Houston is nowhere close to being as good as TCU. If we play like we did last night we can beat anyone in the AAC. I stand by my original prediction...6-6 and a bowl

Of our remaining games I believe @ Memphis will be the toughest. Their QB is really good. I just don't see our defense being able to stop them.

I still say Memphis, Temple, Navy, Houston are losses.
6-6 is now doable. Before the season I thought we'd get 3 or 4 wins.

I watched part of the Navy game, we have a very good shot at beating them. I haven't had a chance to watch Cougar High, Memphis or Temple.

They are very overrated and have played nobody. But I'm biased.

Beating Missouri State and Kansas is not impressive. Bowling Green almost beat them too. The way we played TCU I would not be surprised if we are very competitive or win.

Too bad we weren't playing UCF - too
Love this coach love this team.

When Chad gets ready to move to his next home I'm ready to stroke a check for $148 - Circle of jerks

ECM's original point is completely valid. Every game left is winnable.
