Two TCU players arrested for robbery, beating up students

Two TCU football players were arrested Monday afternoon on felony robbery charges, police said.
Senior defensive end Mike Tuaua, 22, of Rohnert Park, California, and redshirt freshman wide receiver Andre Petties-Wilson, 19, of San Diego, were booked into jail on charges they assaulted and robbed three male students at about 11:30 p.m. on Friday Sept. 4.
The students told police they were beaten outside a party on Lowden Street and the attackers stole a case of Keystone Light beer.
In a campus crime alert issued after the theft, TCU police said three people had shown up uninvited at the party, got kicked out and then attacked three TCU students and stole a case of beer.
Medics treated one of the students at the scene and transported another to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, said MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky.

They may not have had prior records. I am sure we have had players dismissed for breaking the law and will probably happen in the future. Can't be with the players 24 hours a day.

As much as I want to emulate their success, I really hope this is not something we have to look forward to on what it seems like a weekly basis.
