Did you go to SMU?
Is this a legit question or are you trying to be a smarta $$?
It's a legit question.[/quote] Yes, I did graduate from SMU.

let's just see where we stand in 2 weeks as we prepare for the Thursday night game at Houston. I'm not ready to call this a "bowl" team, but at least the 1st 3 weeks have shown that we are not going to be the doormat we were last year. I expect the AAC to be really competitive this year

Ok. I guess I mis-read your remarks. When you said "especially when your team gives", I interpreted that to mean, "your team is SMU, but mine isn't". My bad.

No, we're about 30 min from their campus....when traffic isn't a problem. Any Houston area Mustangs going?

I'll be there as well.
Haven't heard anything from the Houston area alums yet, so I guess I should go ahead and buy my ticket directly from SMU.

That's interesting, the game is a little over two weeks away. You would think area alums, letterman, Mustang Club members etc... would be getting pounded with info on the game.

I used to think the same way until I watched their game last Saturday against Bowling Green. Believe it or not but BG is good. The week prior they dominated Maryland, 48-27. BG has one of the highest scoring offenses in the country - they've averaged 40 points in their first three games against Tennessee, Maryland and Memphis. As for Memphis, their offense is legit. Their QB is big (6'7") and mobile with good arm. I hate to agree with tiger snot but he looks like a NFL QB.

Agreed, but all the recent messages have been regarding Homecoming (which makes some sense).
